Mexico has a policy of openness to international scrutiny and collaboration with the international human rights system. As part of this policy, Mexico is setting up an electronic tool for reporting and follow-up of more than 3,500 recommendations made by universal and regional human rights mechanisms and bodies to improve respect, protection and fulfilment of human rights.

In close collaboration, with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Mexico developed an International Human Rights Recommendations Monitoring System (SERIDH).
