Mujeres y hombres, en compañía de sus comunidades, comparten los efectos de la pandemia por la covid-19 y sus esfuerzos por la preservación de sus territorios biodiversos.
En medio de la crisis global de salud por la covid-19, y mientras el mundo se adapta a prolongadas restricciones de movilidad y cuarentenas, en todo el territorio latinoamericano hay quienes siguen en la defensa de su tierra. Y lo hacen porque los proyectos extractivistas y la violencia contra las comunidades no se detienen.
#DefenderSinMiedo es un proyecto de periodismo de investigación liderado por el medio independiente Agenda Propia en coordinación con veinte editores, periodistas, diseñadores, traductores y medios aliados de México, Perú, Colombia, Honduras, Panamá, Venezuela, Brasil, Ecuador, Paraguay, El Salvador, Argentina y Estados Unidos.
