The quote above is an extract from the intervention delivered this morning by Costa Rica jointly with Slovenia, Switzerland, Morocco and the Maldives to the Human Rights Council to report back on their consultations regarding the international recognition of the right to a safe, clean, healthy and sustainable environment and of their intent to continue this process to pave the way to the possible global recognition.
